The very next day Eric and I headed out to Mt.Mcsauba to set up a box and get some practice in on an easy feature.

Jibbing the last couple days has really made the knee start hurting and I'm beginning to understand just what i'm going to have to deal with this year. It's nuts because i can do certain things while riding with limited or no pain, like most things switch, almost anything in my regular stance and i kind of want to scream.
I guess i'm just going to have to adapt to the injury and learn to snowboard differently then i have in the past.
A good thing and a bad thing.

Yes yes yes,
the snow has finally arrived here in the mitten state!
It started coming down last Friday and has not stopped yet!

25" total in my area of Charlevoix Michigan and still climbing.

Fellow team rider Eric Coon showed up at my door on Tuesday of this week with a big smile on his face. That night we hooked up with an up and coming Michigan shredder Conrad klooster and had a session on some features he'd set up. It took a little bit to get back in the swing of riding, but after a bit it was as if summer never happened.
