We rolled into Copper around 4 a.m, set up the A-Liner, shut our eyes and fell right to sleep!
I woke up the next day feeling about 60% (which i figured was normal after driving 22 hours straight with little sleep). We went out and rode what was left of Coppers powder around the Super B lift and by the end of the day i was exhausted.
These are some pics of camper life in a Columbia North West A-Liner.
the camper and van.

The view from the back window of the camper! Awesome!!!!!

My wife pregnant wife Bre catching up on some sleep in the camper with the boys (Shaggy and Sexton).

This is what happens when your generator runs out of gas around midnight and its 10 degrees in Colorado.

After eating some food and taking a bit of a rest i decided to take advantage of the new Woodward At Copper facility.

For $10 you get an all day skate pass! The Bowl is killer, hard to find lines rite away, but after a little while you get the hang.

They also have a Mini set up on another level of the complex, this was the most fun thing for me. Easy to session and get in a groove.

I skated for a little over an hour and decided it was time to head back to the A-Liner for a good nights rest. At about 2 a.m that night i woke up with a CRAZY migraine! at first I thought it was just dehydration and lack of sleep, but as i tried to shake it off i realized it was not. Bre threw me in the van and we drove to the hospital in Frisco. At first the doctor was worried that my recent head trauma (when i smashed my face in 3 weeks prior) had been diagnosed wrong so he sent me in for some Cat Scans. The results came back normal which eased my anxiety for sure. The doctor then said that on the scans he could see that i had a "raging sinus infection" and that "the altitude had traped pressure inside my head" causing the migraine! This duder was super cool and dispite the fact that i had no insurance treated just as well as if i did (if you dont have insurance you will no what i mean!) . Hooked me up to an i.v for most of the night, pumped some saline in, some morphine and some valume and I was feeling normal! He sent me home with a bunch and perscriptions and told me to get rested and do well at nationals!

The next 30 hours were spent passed out in the camper trying to shake off the infection.
BUMMER!
